This policy explains what information HangulKit (https://hangulkit.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to this policy.

What you type into the tools

The tools on HangulKit (for example, the number converter and the name converter) run entirely in your web browser. The numbers and names you enter are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us. If you use the share button, the value you entered becomes part of the link (for example ?name=Emily), and anyone you share the link with can see it.

The “Listen” feature uses your browser's built-in speech engine. Depending on your device and browser, the speech may be produced on your device or by your browser vendor's service.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use this information only in aggregate and do not use it to identify you.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. HangulKit itself does not set cookies to track you. However, third parties we work with, such as Google, may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons and similar technologies, as described below.

Advertising: Google AdSense

We use (or plan to use) Google AdSense to show advertisements, which keeps HangulKit free. In connection with this:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads a font, Google receives your IP address and browser information. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

If we add a visitor statistics service in the future (such as Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics), we will update this policy to describe it.

Children's privacy

HangulKit is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Because we do not store personal information about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about your data, contact us and we will help where we can.
